HATCHED Delivers Neurodivergent Leadership Training to the 6WD Network

On 7 September, Helena Territt ran a half-day Neurodivergent Leadership workshop for the Six Women Dinners network, hosted at The Anthologist in London and followed by a self-funded dinner for anyone who wanted to keep talking.

This one came about in a lovely way. The invitation came from inside the community: network founder Sandie Bakowski got in touch and basically said, "I think this would be useful, shall we do it?" Yes. Let's.

Leading from strength, not from a template

The Six Women Dinners network brings women together across sectors, backgrounds and career stages to build genuine, non-transactional connections. Neurodivergence comes up in this network often; sometimes openly, sometimes halfway through a conversation when someone says, "Actually, me too." A session that treats cognitive difference as an advantage, rather than another box on the diversity list, was a good fit.

That is what HATCHED's Neurodivergent Leader Training is built to do. It helps neurodivergent professionals lead from their strengths, instead of spending half their energy trying to fit into someone else's idea of what a leader should look like. As Helena said afterwards: "I love spending time with incredible, divergent minds and helping them to embrace working in unconventional ways to achieve brilliance. After all, I am pretty sure Edison didn't spend much time worrying about whether he was organised or consistent enough."

What the delegates said

"Loved your session, Helena Territt. So often we think of cognitive biases in the negative sense. I really enjoyed looking at how our diverse ways of thinking can enrich and broaden. Thanks for bringing your expertise to the event!"
Marianne Powell, Senior Strategic Comms Consultant

"It was a fantastic session, thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us."
Sophie Shore, Director of Strategy and Intelligence, Westminster City Council

"Massive thanks to Sandie Bakowski and Helena Territt for a wonderful workshop on neurodivergent leadership. The number of light-bulb moments was extraordinary, and the psychological safety was so strong we had people opening up on truly important topics."
Mollie Brentnall, IT Leader

"Huge thanks to you, Helena, for running such an informative session. I know all the attendees got so much from it, and it was a different way for all of them to build their networks."
Sandie Bakowski, Business Psychologist

Bring this training to your team

HATCHED's Neurodivergent Leader Training is a CPD Certified programme for organisations and groups who want their neurodivergent leaders and teams to do well. It gives people the strategies, language and confidence to lead as themselves, without the exhausting work of masking.

If you would like to run a session for your organisation, network or team, find out more about Neurodivergent Leader Training or get in touch.

With thanks to Sandie Bakowski and the Six Women Dinners network, and to Imogen Leslie and the team at The Anthologist for the venue.
